2. Event Entry Fees
Some events on JoinNextMatch may require payment of an entry fee. These fees are set by event organizers, not by JoinNextMatch. Refund eligibility and terms are determined by the individual event organizer's refund policy.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Automatic Refunds
You may be eligible for an automatic refund in the following circumstances:
- The event is cancelled by the organizer
- The event is postponed indefinitely
- You are removed from the event by the organizer without cause
3.2 Request-Based Refunds
Refunds may be available at the discretion of the event organizer in the following cases:
- Medical emergency preventing attendance
- Unexpected circumstances beyond your control
- Event details significantly changed after registration
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Contact the event organizer directly through the app
- If the organizer is unresponsive, contact our support team at support@joinnextmatch.com
- Provide your order/transaction details and reason for refund
- Wait for review and response (typically within 5-7 business days)
5. Refund Timeline
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- No-shows or failure to attend an event
- Change of mind after registration
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Weather-related cancellations (unless event is cancelled by organizer)
- In-app purchases or credits (subject to specific terms)
7. Event Organizer Policies
Event organizers may have their own refund policies that differ from this general policy. We encourage you to review the specific refund terms for each event before registering. Organizer-specific policies take precedence over this general policy.
8. Disputes
If you are unable to resolve a refund issue with an event organizer, you may contact our support team. We will review the case and may mediate between you and the organizer. However, final refund decisions rest with the event organizer.
9. Payment Processing Fees
Payment processing fees charged by third-party payment processors (such as credit card fees) are generally non-refundable. In cases of full refunds due to event cancellation, we will refund the full amount including processing fees.
